Goliath Beetle
The Goliath Beetle is the heaviest insect in the world, and can weigh up to 3.5 ounces and measure up to 4 inches. They live in the tropical forests in Central and West Africa. They begin as larvae that develop in rotting wood. Larvae means that it is the baby form of most bugs. After they grow up, they eat flowers in high places. They are also very good fliers even though they're heavy. Each of the beetle's feet have sharp claws, which let them climb tree trunks and branches. There's not a lot known about the Goliath Beetle.
